Worship at Oakhurst is a celebration! Casual, robust, and loving, services joyfully blend traditions from cultures across the globe. Sermons are uplifting, sometimes challenging, and always reassuring: We are children of God! The congregation enjoys fellowship and light refreshments in the Fellowship Hall after the service.
Attire tends toward the casual but many prefer traditional “Sunday clothes.” You’ll find everything from jeans and shorts to suits and dresses. Wear what makes you feel comfortable.
Children and Youth
We rejoice in the presence of over 100 children and 35 youth at Oakhurst. We work hard to provide age appropriate curriculum and creative learning in every Sunday School class as well as special activities for children during worship.
For grades pre-K until “too cool for school.” Includes singing, drumming, and movement for fun and learning. Sundays, 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. (during the school year)
Oakhurst offers Sunday School classes for every age! Visit our Christian Education page here to learn more.
