Brady “Brotherbrady” Radford is a native of West Helena, Arkansas. He received his bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University, where he studied architectural engineering and design. As a college student he joined the Presbyterian Church and was ordained as an elder in the Village Church in Nashville, TN. There he received the call to ministry, and left behind his vision of being a famous engineer, to study at Johnson C. Smith Theological Seminary (JCSTS) in Atlanta. While in seminary, Brady served as the Moderator of the JCSTS student fellowship and as a student member of the Board of Trustees. He earned an M.Div from JCSTS in 2007 and soon after began serving his first call as Stated Supply Pastor at Mattoon Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC. In 2010, Brady returned to the Atlanta area to complete a second master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling at Georgia State. After finishing his studies in 2013, he began serving as a Pastoral Counselor for the Greater Atlanta Presbytery. He was led to Oakhurst to celebrate and serve in the ministry in 2014.
Brady is married to his partner and friend Celestine Radford. They have a daughter, Aniyah, who is four, and a son, Brayden, who is two. He most enjoys fun times with his family, reading, and riding his motorcycle. Brady is passionate about marriage and dating relationships, and this is where he helps most as a counselor. He also considers himself as a steady supporter and advocate for social justice.
